Toothed roller crusher is a kind of large-scaled mining processing machinery. In the process of its production, we should not only take good maintenance and repair for the mechanical device, but also pay attention to some inspection attentions before run. In its production process, there are many parts needing to test and adjust, such as wedge adjustment and gasket adjustment.

Wedge Adjustment

It is realized by the use of wedge adjusting mechanism. It drew on the two wedges that placed between the bearing seat on the back toggle plate and the frame rear wall to adjust. When screw the nut, the back wedge rise along the frame rear wall through the force from screw rod, and the front wedge slide forward horizontally along the slot on the frame wall. As a consequence, drive the toggle plate and movable jaw moving forward to reduce the discharging opening. In this way, it can achieve steeples adjustment, saving time without stop the machine. But the disadvantage is that the machine size and weight increase, and not easy to adjust parallel, and make the toggle plate and rod twisted. Therefore, this method only suitable for the mid and small type toothed roller crusher.

Gasket Adjustment

Place a group of gaskets with same thickness between the frame rear wall and wedge to increase and decrease the discharging opening by using of the gaskets to reach the purpose of adjusting the discharging opening. This method can achieve compound adjustment with convenient operation, but need to stop the machine. Normally, it is used for the large and medium type toothed roller crusher.

In the process of the use of toothed roller crusher, should pay attention to replace the wearing parts in addition to the testing of the machine. Reduce the machine fault rate as much as possible to enhance the working efficiency and service life.
