What crusher equipment is usually needed to break limestone?
Limestone crushing can be classified into coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing according to the discharge size.
Coarse crushing equipment: commonly used equipment is jaw crusher. In the limestone crushing production line, the coarse crushing equipment can break large pieces of mined limestone into blocks of 125-400mm.
Medium crushing equipment: commonly used equipment is impact crusher, and fine crushing machine, etc. After being treated by the coarse crushing equipment, the medium crushing equipment is used for secondary crushing to break these stones into smaller stones between 20-100mm. The particle size of the discharged stone can also be controlled by adjusting the size of the discharge port of the medium crushing equipment to get the finished gravel.
Fine crushing equipment: sand making machine is commonly used. After coarse crushing and medium crushing of limestone, small pieces of limestone can be broken into 0-5mm m sand under the action of sand making machine.
Limestone crushing process
The limestone is mined from the mountains, and the vibrating feeder sends the stone evenly to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing, and then the belt conveyor sends the stone to the impact crusher for medium crushing, and then to the vibrating screen for screening. The material larger than the finished product is returned to the crusher for re-crushing, and the finished product is sent to the finished product pile.
