3. System Layout

The traditional arrangement of cement limestone crusher is heavy duty plate feeder and crusher. In recent years, the market appeared preliminary screening system. Install an undulate roller crusher with the function of transmission and screening in the front of the crusher to separate the qualified materials from the feeding materials to reduce crusher abrasion; or prescreening the soil to prevent the blockage of crusher. This crushing system workshop has two bins, accepting the limestone and clay respectively. The clay is transferred to the limestone feeder from the plate feeder according to a certain proportion, and then sent to the crusher. This requires that the crusher can handle the high mud content in the mixture, so double rotor hammer crusher is the most suitable machine. In addition, is the mobile crushing station. When the mining site is far from the crushing station, you can move the whole station or disassemble, which shorten the transportation distance, reduce the cost and risk.

4. Crushing Section of Crushing System

(1) Single stage crushing: If limestone doesn’t belong to hard crushed materials or high abradability materials, they can be crushed in a single stage crushing system to simplify crushing system. The main models include single rotor crusher with a feeding roller, single rotor crusher with two feeding rollers and single rotor crusher and double rotor crusher, impact crusher.

(2) Two stage crusher: If material abradability is high, it needs to consider two stage crushing system. The simplest two stage crushing system consists of jaw crusher (or gyratory crusher) as the primary crusher and medium crushing hammer crusher without screening machine, crushing ratio can reach 40.

5. Selection of Crusher

(1) When soil content in limestone is less than 5%, choose single rotor hammer crusher, when crushing ratio is reasonable, can also choose impact crusher.

(2) When soil content in limestone is more than 5%, and its moisture is more than 7%, choose double rotor hammer crusher.

(3) When limestone abradability is high, choose impact crusher. If its abradability is high enough and hard to crush, you should consider two stage crushing.

(4) If cement plant use high moisture chalk, marl as main material, above crushing methods are not adapted to the material, should choose tooth roller crusher or dryer-crusher.
