1. After the completion of installation, clean the crushing cavity before production to make sure there are no foreign matters or small parts inside the cavity.
2. Properly lower the height of rib plate, normally higher 5cm than the grate is better. At the same time, weld the reinforce plate at the side of rib plate to increase the striking force and wear-resistance.
3. Reduce the non-broken materials like iron feeding into the crushing cavity. Before feeding, use the magnetic separator to remove the non-broken materials.
4. During daily operation, the operators should pay attention to the machine working condition. If found the abnormal situation, stop the machine immediately, and try to take out the foreign matters to decrease the damage for the rib plate.
Even the above methods cannot solve the problem of abrasion, but it can effectively prolong the service life. If we pay attention to the daily maintenance of the impact crusher, we can greatly reduce the abrasion.
