Ore dressing is a kind of processing that separates useful mineral and useless mineral (usually called gangue) or harmful mineral by means of physical or chemical methods to get the required materials used in smelting or other process. Mineral processing mainly consists of three stages
(1) Preparation work. It includes crushing (grinding), screening, classifying and washing.
(2) Selection work. It includes gravity separation, flotation, electric separation, and chemical separation.
(3) Disposal work. It includes the treatment of concentration, middlings, tailings dehydration, tailings piled up and waste water.
