During machine usage, the service life could be dramatically shortened due to improper operation and maintenance, especially the wearing part like hammer head. Consequently, it is necessary to have good maintenance of the machine, or else, it may speed up the wearing process of the spare parts, which may severely influence the project process and raise the operation cost.
The rotating speed of the hammer crusher is high. It has large crushing ratio but generates huge dust. The required booting vibration amplitude is less than 0.2mm. The production capacity decreases with the wearing of the hammer head. Gradually, the hammer head has weaker impact force and we can reverse the hammer head and use the other edge when the hammer head has worn to same extend. We need to replace the hammer head when double sides have worn out. When replace and reverse the hammer head, we need to pull out the hammer head bearing first. Then disassemble the hammer head. During hammer head replacing process, please pay attention to keep the balance of the hammer head to make sure the crusher runs stably and reduces the vibration.
Generally the hammer head is made of high- manganese steel. What determines the service life of the hammer head is its heat treatment process. If the hammer head process is properly the service life of the hammer head could be prolong about one time.
The foundation bolt of hammer crusher should be fasten, check each lubrication point to ensure good lubrication. Hammer crusher take no load test for 8h, load test for 8-24h.
