Lubrication of jaw crusher has significant meaning for the long term normal running of crusher machine. Each lubrication point, including the parts between swing jaw bearing, thrust plate and toggle plate should adopt grease lubrication. In winter, if the grease is possible to freeze, add 20% (by weight) automobile oil. According to the actual operation, we can fill oil every 1-2 day, and it's better to change oil in each quarter.
Start the oil pump motor before starting the main motor. Check the oil circuit, and then start the main motor after 3-4 minutes. Thin oil lubrication normally uses 40# or 50# machine oil, but in winter without heating device, we can use 20# or 30# machine oil. The normal temperature in oil tank is 25—40℃ at the beginning, and change to 35—50℃ during working process. In winter, we should preheat the oil before starting the machine at the plant that do not have heating device, but the oil return temperature should not higher than 50—60℃. If the oil temperature is too high, we should take water cooling measure, the water pressure is not exceed 3 atmospheric pressure, and lower 0.5 atmospheric pressure than the oil pressure. The flow velocity is not more than 1m/s, return velocity is 0.2-0.3m/s. The oil pressure difference is not more than 0.25-0.4 atmospheric pressure after the filtration of cooler, otherwise, should clean the dirty cooler. The replacement period of thin oil should according to the actual situation, at least to change one time every 3-6 month. For the crusher that runs for a long time, it's better to change oil every two month and at the same time clean the oil tank and related parts.
The grease lubrication of large type crusher must be taken under certain pressure. The grease goes into the lubrication point of swing jaw bearing and thrust plate bearing separately by achieving the force from grease lubrication device. Add grease 4-6 times per shift, 3 minutes per time.
