Impact crusher is widely used in the fields of mining, construction, high way, railway,and airport etc. which is greatly praised by customer for its crushing performence. But the wrong installation and operation will decrease its service life. How to overcome this problem?
1、If the temperature of the bearing is quite high, it means the bearing lacking of lubricant and needs to refill the lubricant immediately. However, if the volume of the lubricant is over used, the bearing will also rise temperature. Please check the lubricant level before adding to prevent bearing damage. Please timely replace bearing and tighten the upper cover by good adjustment of the bolt.
2、If the impact crusher has the phenomenon of abnormal shaking, it may caused by dropping oversize material. Please check the size of the feeding material. If the components of the jaw crusher are unevenly worn out, which means the impact hammer head needs to be replaced, or the running of the motor is not in balance and needs adjustment. If the foundation is not properly settled, please check the fixing bolts and tighten them.
3、If the belt of the impact crusher is overturned that means the belt is worn out and need to be replaced. Due to the problem of belt settlement, we must adjust the belt to the same level. The weight of the V-belt should pay great attentions.
4、If the granularity of the final product is oversize, which means the hammer head has worn out. Please turn the hammer head upside down or replace it. Or the space between the hammer hand the impact plate is too big. Generally, we adjust the space to 15mm – 20mm. Material with large granularity may also influence the discharging speed.
Installation
1. Impact crusher should make regular inspection during production (All components with pump or has characteristic of versatility shall be tightly fastened, please regularly check all the components during production and tighten them when necessary.
2. During installation process please make sure that the rotating direction of the impact crusher, do not reverse the direction. (There is turning marks on the belt). 3. After finish the installation of impact crusher, please equipped the driving device with protective cover according to the installation condition.
4. The space between the impact plate and the hammer should be narrowed according to the working requirement. After adjustment, please turn the motor by hand to see whether there is collision. Then lock up the tightening nut to prevent the impact plate lowering down and collides with the plate hammer that caused by nut loosing.
5. Since the discharge opening of the impact crusher is set below the machine, hence the installation height as well as how to adjust the feeding and discharging could be taken into consideration during system design process.
Commissioning
1. The rotor has been tested for the balance before delivery, so the customers do not need to do the balance test. But you should do the balance when changing the hammer head and rotor.
2. Keep balance when installing the machine. Keep the belt loosen enough and fix the motor.
3. Check the position of every part.
4. Check the machine box and relay. Test the direction of the motor, and choose the appropriate fuse.
5. Check the hydraulic system.
6. Clean the inner side of the impact crusher.
