Impact crusher (sand making machine) is working in the serious condition for a long time, which quickens the rotor bearing abrasion. Rotor is irreplaceable in crusher work, and also easy to be damaged. Meanwhile, rotor bearing is expensive and difficult to be replaced, often cause production loss.
How to take effective measures to improve the service life of impact crusher rotor bearing is the most concerned point in the process of operation from our customers.
We need to pay more attention from the following aspects:
1. Choose the right type of rotor bearing. Biserial centripetal spherical roller bearing has the feature of strong bearing capacity and good self-aligning performance, so we choose this bearing as the rotor bearing.
2. Improve the stress of the crusher bearing. Insert rubber plate with certain thickness between bearing base and supporting frame to enhance the bearing base support flexibility in order to prolong its service life.
3. Improve the balance precision of the rotor. Because of heavy weight and high rotation speed of rotor, the casting tolerance of rotor body and the weight difference after installation will cause unbalanced centrifugal force when the rotor is rotating. This centrifugal force leads to strong vibration so as to damage bearing and other parts. Therefore, the balance test of crusher rotor should be carried.
