Structure and Production Attention for Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher is widely used in mining, smelting, building material, highway, railway, water conservancy and chemical engineering and other areas for the crushing of ores or rocks with compressive strength of less than 300MPa

Jaw crusheris composed of swing jaw plate and fixed jaw plate. It simulates two jaws movement of animals to complete material crushing. This jaw crusher is widely used in mining, smelting, building material, highway, railway, water conservancy and chemical engineering and other areas for the crushing of ores or rocks with compressive strength of less than 300MPa.

1. Frame   

Frame is a rigid frame with opening up and down, and used for supporting the eccentric shaft and bear the counterforce of crushing material. It needs sufficient strength and rigidity.

2. Jaw Plate and Side Guard Plate     

The fixed jaw and swing jaw consist of jaw bed and jaw plate, the jaw plate is fixed on a bed with bolts and wedge block. The jaw bed of fixed jaw plate is the front wall of frame, the jaw bed of swing jaw plate hang on the shaft and should have sufficient strength and rigidity to bear the crushing counterforce, thus mostly is cast steel or cast iron pieces made.

3. Transmission Device   

Eccentric shaft is the main shaft of crusher and has a large bending torque, made by high carbon steel. Eccentric part need finish machining, heat treatment, and the bearing bushing use the babbitt metal casting. One end of eccentric shaft equipped with pulley, the other end equipped with the flywheel.

4. Adjusting Device    

Adjusting device has a wedge type, baseplate type and hydraulic type, etc., generally uses the wedge type, which is composed of both (front and rear), the front wedge can be moved back and forth to resist rear push plate; the rear wedge is for adjusting wedge and can move up and down, two wedges incline backward to fit, the rear wedge moved up and down with screws to adjust the discharge opening.

5. Flywheel    

Flywheel is used to store the energy of empty stroke of the swing jaw. The flywheel is made by cast iron or cast steel, should pay attention to the static balance when installation.

6. Lubrication Device

Eccentric shaft bearing adopts concentrate circulating lubrication. Mandrel and bearing surface of thrust plate are lubricated through oil gun by hand. Because of the small tilt angle of swing jaw, it is difficult to lubricate between mandrel and bearing bush, we cut some axial oil groove at the bottom of bearing bush, and connected by a loop channel, then filling dry grease by oil pump.
