Belt pulley is a very important part to ensure the cone crusher normal running, how to assembly the belt pulley is very important.
1. Install all of the pipelines firstly, then check the surface and the inner bore of sleeve. And make sure the drive shaft is clean, no burr, no scratch, no impurity such as paint, dirt or grease.
2. Pull the shaft towards the driving end, till the pinion thrust washer cling to the inner bearing sleeve closely. Knock on the surface of the slinger ring atomizer, making it cling to the outer bearing sleeve closely.
3. After assembly the flange, pack the bushing into the shaft, keeping a 0.8-1.6mm gap between the sleeve and slinger ring atomizer, then fix the sleeve onto the driving shaft with lock bolts. Pay attention not to lock too tight.
4. Knock on the driving shaft with a wood brick, making the sleeve cling to the oil slinger closely .making sure tighten all the bolts of the pulley after check.
Installation
1. Check the groove of the pulley, making sure no scratch or blur, and all the dimension is right.
2. Clean all the spare parts, such as bore of hub, sleeve and bolt hole. Install the sleeve into pulley, align all the bolt holes.
3. Smear oil on the bolt (TB 1008-TB 3030) and screw-thread (TB 3525-TB 5050),then tighten the bolts loosely.
4. Clean the surface of the shaft, install the pulley to the expected position, and check if the v-belt aligns properly.
5. The keyway should be inserted into hub and keep a tolerance between the keyway and hub.
6. All the bolts should be tightened properly by a hex wrench which meets the standards DIN911 till to the required torque.
7. After the pulley running for about 0.5~1 hour, check the locking torque and tighten the bolts if necessary.
8. Fill the pulley’s location hole with grease in order to keep away from foreign matter.
