There are two ways to support swing jaw, i.e. traditional support and external oscillating bar support. The latter is developed on the basis of the former one. Now, let's give you the detail instruction of these two supports.
1. Traditional Support
Jaw crusher normally uses toggle plate to support swing jaw. Because the swing jaw, toggle plate and wedge iron are one-way contact in semi-open type, the seal is bad, lubrication is difficult together with the serious working condition, the crushed dust flows inside, the head and base of toggle plate are seriously worn, which shorten the service life. Moreover, the abrasion of toggle plate's head and base changes the motion parameter, thus decreasing the jaw crusher's performance. When the jaw crusher is working, swing jaw generates inertia force, which leads the spring and pull rod breaking caused by reciprocating motion.
2. External Oscillating Bar
As the substitute of toggle plate, external oscillating bar hangs on the hanging scroll on the both side of swing jaw. One side of hanging scroll inserts into the hanging scroll hole, and is locked by hex head screw. The other side through the installation hole of frame and be supported inside the sliding bearing of oscillating bar. In order to ensure the stiffness and wear resistance, we use aluminum-iron bronze bearing shell and adding lubrication system. The oscillating bar passes the load to the frame through the mandrel that installed on the frame. Placing limit blocks at one side of mandrel to prevent mandrel moving.
