The temperature is low in winter. The oil and water is easy to be frozen. How to assure starting cone crusher in winter?
1. Cleaning of crusher
Clean oil, chassis and surface is useful for cleaning. Find if any damage and oil leak during cleaning. Do not flush electric parts by high pressure water gun.
2. Selection and change of oil
Diesel oil is easy to be paraffined in low temperature. In order to make the diesel oil more softly, choose the low condensation point diesel oil. Usually, the condensation point of diesel oil is lower 5℃ than the surrounding temperature.
When maintain the crusher, the fuel oil system should be cleaned. Clean the filter and change the filter element. Check the oil pump situation to avoid hidden danger.
Diesel engine should choose smaller viscosity oil at low temperature. Try to choose high-performance engine oil, which isn't easily oxidation at high temperature, and won't leave sediments in the precision parts of diesel engine so as to greatly extend service life of the diesel engine. Multistage oil can work in a wide temperature range, general optional viscosity grade of multistage oil is SAE5W – 40 or SAE10W – 40. When operators change oil, they should replace or clean the oil filter at the same time.
When in seasonal maintenance, change the transmission, transfer, differential, steering gear oil for winter use, pay attention to cleaning when change oil.
3. The maintenance of spare parts
Maintenance of diesel engine cooling system: Check the thermostat state to avoid water temperature of diesel engine getting too low or too high. Remove scale deposit in water jacket. If temperature gets around 10 ℃, use anti-freezing oil which has advantages of winter antifreeze, summer prevent boiling, anti-corrosion and long-term. Once found sediment deposition in tank, remove them immediately.
Maintenance of electrical equipment: Check battery motor wiring, check and adjust the electrolyte density. Maintain starter motor. Turn up charging voltage. The battery should be charged frequently in winter.
Maintenance of braking system: Pay attention whether brake fluid is enough or not, whether its quality gets worse. Check the oil and water separator. Check whether the dirty switch is working correctly or not. Check the brake if found that weak, running deviation, the impetus of the brake pedal cadence and brake back phenomenon, make adjustments timely.
