The operation sequences of cone crusher include preparation, start up, operation and stop of the machine. Today, we will give you the introduction of the above four sequences.

1. Preparation before start up

(1) Check whether there are ore or iron inside crushing cavity. It's forbidden to start cone crusher with load (i.e. there are minerals inside crushing cavity), in case the electrical device trip or damage spare parts. Therefore, should check the crushing cavity before start the machine, if has ore or iron, remove them.

(2) Check the width of discharge opening. In order to ensure the qualified products granularity, should check whether the discharge opening conforms to the requirements, especially the new installed machine or the old one that for the first time to use after maintenance.

(3) Check the signal for the electric interlock device.

(4) Check oil level and oil temperature. It is not allowed to start when the oil temperature lower than 20℃.

(5) Check oil pressure in the locking cylinder. Start machine when the adjusting ring in lock state.

2. Start up

Start machine after confirm the above items.

(1) Start oil pump and check oil pressure. Oil pressure should between 0.05-1.2 MPa, cooling water pressure should lower than the oil pressure of 0.025-0.05MPa to prevent water mix into oil.

(2) Send start signal after the oil pump running 3-5 min. without problems, and then start crusher machine. After the crusher runs 1-2 min without load, if everything goes well, feeding materials.

3. Operation 

After feeding the material, the crusher is under the mode of loaded operation, the operator shall obey and pay attentions to below announcements and properly operate the machine. 

(1) Material feeding must even and meets the granularities requirement.

(2) Pay attention to mineral discharging and transportation to avoid blockage that may cause accidents. 

(3) Make regular inspection of oil pump, chiller, and filter to see whether they are regularly working. The returned oil temperature shall not over 60℃.

(4) Regular check the water seal dust proof. If there is no water, the machine will not operate. IF water contains oil in it that may mainly due to the blockage of the oil return chute or oil return hole of the spherical surface bearing housing.

(5)Regular check the oil pressure of the lock cylinder, the adjusting ring must working properly under the mode of locking. 

(6) Pay attention to the motor working current to see whether it is normal. 

(7) Pay attention to the sounds of driving parts and gear parts to hear whether it runs normal or not.

(8) Regular check the liner plate wearing situation, especially pay attention to the fixing bolt of the liner plate of the adjusting ring. If it looses, this may cause liner board loosing. The new replaced liner board shall tighten once after working 24 hours. 

4. Stop the machine

The stop of the crushing machine shall follow below operation consequences:

(1) Stop the feeding machine and make sure the crushing machine is still running. When all mineral ores inside the crushing chamber are crushed, the machine could stop as consequence. Or else, it may lead to great difficulties on machine booting next time. 

(2) Stop the crushing machine from running.

(3) Stop the oil pump and mineral discharging & transportation devices.

(4) When the indoor temperature is below 0℃, after the machine is stopped, please dry out the water inside the water seal to avoid freeze.
